OKencasa is a methodology and a technological psychoeducational assistance service for informal carers charged with dependent seniors in their homes. The primary mission of OKencasa is to help the carers provide a quality service and care for themselves in an effective manner, preventing any faux pas; secondly, OKencasa helps the public care system to provide better support for family carers, using effective processes and technology.

The effectiveness of the OKENCASA methodology has the scientific backing of a randomised control group/intervention group clinical study, approved by the Basque Country Clinical Research Ethics Committee (CEIC-E, PI2018086) and conducted by the University of the Basque Country and the London School of Economics.
